Luckily there were a bunch of cars parked off to the left, by some rope, and that was how we knew where the start of the trail head was. The junction to the last peak is a good resting point, and a great option if you want to save 2.5 miles and just start the hike down. I will say, though, that its not far from Charlebois Spring with a Forest Service sign next to it. Look for a ridgetop slanting downward from left to right at its base and off to the right youll see a small horizontal opening.
